Traffic Tickets
One should "think twice" before sending a traffic fine in through the mail without first determining the "long terms costs" of such action.
Bob Moore handles "Traffic Tickets" which are Class "C" Misdemeanors in all Municipal Courts and Justices of the Peace Courts in Galveston County. Mr. Moore does not go outside of Galveston County on such cases.
Traffic tickets include all Class "C" Misdemeanor crimes such as Negligent Collision; Public Intoxication; Minors Driving Under the Influence; Class "C" Misdemeanor Theft; Disturbing the Peace; Simple Assault and Cutting in Line at Ferry Crossings.
If the case cannot be Dismissed for technical reasons, or defended with a probable outcome of "Not Guilty," then a "Deferred Adjudication" can be obtained in almost 100% of the cases, with a probationary period and payment of fine and court costs. After the probationary period has been served and there have been no new charges nor any other pending Deferred Adjudication judgments in any other court, then the case will be dismissed.
In some instances, such as Theft, Public Intoxication, Simple Assault, and Disturbing the Peace, the cases can be Expunged in those instances where it is necessary and important to the client for numerous reasons.
