January 15, 1964, Bob Moore started his law practice as a solo practitioner on the 10th Floor of the State National Bank Building at 412 Main, Houston, Texas. Having passed the Texas Bar after the completion of 74 hours of "night law school" at South Texas College of Law, Bob then went on to complete his Juris Doctor Degree  in 1965.

Bob Moore's law practice started in the area of personal injury and insurance litigation; and civil cases of all kinds - suits on contract and real estate, family law litigation, and criminal law. Bob had previously worked as a personal injury claims adjuster  for Allstate Insurance, and then started his own general liability claims and investigation business of Moore & Associates in August of 1963, which continued through his first year of law practice in 1964. Bob Moore has in excess of 42 years experience in handling personal injury litigation of all kinds.

In 1967, Bob formed a partnership with C.K. Stephenson under the firm name of Moore & Stephenson. The nature of that practice remained the same and L.E. Laurence joined as an associate with the firm.

In 1970, a partnership was formed with L.E. Laurence under the name of Moore & Laurence, and the firm continued practicing for 12 years with three other lawyers. The areas of practice expanded  into environmental litigation, injunctions, and insurance defense, and suits involving insurance coverage questions. The practice also expanded to representing various subdivisions and condominiums on Galveston Island, and included the defense of  various types of personal injury liability claims and the enforcement of Deed Restrictions and Condominium regulations.

That firm also handled some defense litigation of commercial, tort, and strict liability claims for a few insurance companies in the Houston area.

Contemporaneously with that work, Bob Moore's practice expanded into areas of suits for Historic Preservation, injunctions, governmental, administrative, environmental law, and toxic tort litigation, along with other areas of general practice and appellate law.

In 1980, Bob Moore was hired as an expert witness and testified on behalf of the Defendant and Cross Plaintiff Kelly in the case of Allstate Insurance Company v. Kelly, 680 S.W.2d 595 (Tex.App. - Tyler 1984, writ ref'd n.r.e.). Following that case, Mr. Moore has been hired through the years as an expert witness in attorney malpractice cases and in insurance "Bad Faith" cases.

In July of 1982, Bob Moore moved his practice from Houston to Galveston, where he has lived and worked for over 25 years.

Since 1992, Bob's practice has expanded to include Estate Planning, through the preparation of Living Trusts, Charitable Remainder Trusts, and Charitable Foundations, in conjunction with his associate and brother, Eddie D. Moore, Jr., who is Board Certified in Estate Planning.

Since 1997, Bob Moore's criminal law practice has expanded to defending clients charged under Information or Indictments in Federal and State courts who are "in recovery programs" for alcohol and drug addiction and who are also being charged for violations of probation or parole, and also in sentencing hearings and trials involving all types of criminal matters.
